Psychotherapy

Introduction to psychotherapy

Was ist Psychotherapie

In individual therapy you. have the chance with psychological help to recognize where your current suffering comes from. Perhaps psychotherapy can cure your suffering or provide relief, perhaps acceptance. Often psychological disorders can be traced back to unconscious feelings stemming from the past. People unconsciously react to old memories or feelings. Current events can evoke these. But reacting according to old patterns often does not fit into the now or is not appropriate. The point here is to give the new situation a new feeling and not be trapped in old feelings.

Do you check in psychotherapy sessions if thoughts, feelings and actions fit together? If not, then you are out of balance - unstable, nervous, anxious, depressed, aggressive, or otherwise disconnected from your true nature. Your decision to get help with therapy is the first step toward stabilization.

In each psychotherapy session, we review thoughts, feelings and actions together for compatibility and try to harmonize. Sometimes during the therapy session we change dynamics to go deeper into consciousness?

What is psychotherapy?

Motivations to start a therapy are very many. When the disharmony between feelings and thoughts becomes too great, our equilibrium is disturbed. Whether it is an anxiety disorder, depression or an identity crisis, the first thing that is usually needed is "understanding". This can be found in psychotherapy.

Shame, guilt, bad conscience, condemnation, aggression, anger, sadness lead to isolation in the long run. Addiction and dependencies are also isolation. Psychotherapy is the first step out of isolation. Psychological disorders always have a reason: grief, trauma, wrong belief patterns, disturbed sexual orientation, finding identity, desire for freedom.

Practice for life! You often experience your feelings unconsciously in everyday life. During therapy sessions, usually weekly, we review feelings and thoughts. In therapy you can express and reflect without fear. Share secrets with me - in a protected space. And as a next step, integrate all the experiences, insights and new skills from therapy into your everyday life.

Become who you are. Free yourself from feelings of guilt. Forgive yourself and others. Apologize to yourself. Move on. Continue to develop yourself.

Reasons for psychotherapy

Mindfulness as a therapy skill

Before psychotherapy, there is the establishment of the capacity for therapy. Therapy only works if the subconscious can become conscious and this requires mindfulness. Only when mindfulness is present can disturbing issues be made conscious, analyzed, recognized and changed in therapy. So to put oneself in a mindful state is establishing the ability to do therapy.

Many classical therapists view the topic of therapy ability in a medically dogmatic way: In order to be able to begin therapy, doctors often first demand that addictive substances be discontinued or prescribe antidepressants. They assume that this is the only way to achieve mindfulness. My experience is that other, alternative methods are capable of achieving therapy, e.g. yoga meditation or chakra/energy therapy. Those who practice mindfulness automatically strengthen their immune system. Those who regularly and consciously check their feelings, actions and reactions (routines) are in a kind of permanent self-healing.

In psychotherapy I direct your consciousness again and again to inner and outer body feelings. I ask your consciousness where you feel yourself right now. This alone can dissolve energy blockages and bring you into a different state. Well-being can only come about when you return to your own center. This requires open energy fields and energy flow.

Procedure of an individual psychotherapy session

The first session is very intensive and lasts about 120 minutes. We use the meeting for anamnesis and treatment. You will, of course, have an opportunity to share why you are seeking support. The focus of the first meeting is to get to know us and get you ready for therapy. If you "feel well treated" after that, we will discuss how to proceed - perhaps weekly one-hour sessions would be helpful initially.

In follow-up sessions (60 minutes), we analyze your life today, taking into account particular events and illnesses of the past. I raise your awareness for transformation.

At the first meeting you will enjoy a deeply effective energy treatment. Already in this process psychosomatic, mental and/or traumatic blockages and mental imbalance can change. This is a very intense experience of deep relaxation. If you decide to have regular therapy, we will always include energy treatments depending on the process.

Information that comes from regular energy treatments is helpful for weekly talk therapy and vice versa.
